There may be instances where you may encounter the error “Cannot Update Payrollpie ID without Payrollpie Database” when updating the employee’s profile.
Here are the checklists to get this resolved:
- If the company has no Sprout Payroll account yet, the Payroll Pie ID of the employee must be zero (0) on the Employee Profile.
Click Save after the changes.
2. If the company is also subscribed to Sprout Payroll, Payroll Pie Database in the company’s profile for Sprout HR should be entered. The format should be “payroll_(companycode)”.
The Payroll Pie ID of the employee in his/her Sprout HR Employee Profile (Work Information) should also match with the Payroll Pie ID in his/her Sprout Payroll profile.
