The approval flow and approval levels can be configured and managed under Maintenance > Company > Approval Levels.
The flow of approval can be set as either Sequential or Parallel Flow. (Sequential vs. Parallel Approval Level Flow)
This will be applied to the company as a whole.
In addition to this, the approval levels can be managed by any of these 3 options:
- The approval levels set here will apply to all employees whose approval levels are neither managed by department nor managed by employee.
2. Manage by Department
- The approval levels set here will apply to all employees under the selected department unless a specific employee is managed separately.
3. Manage by Employee
- The approval levels set here will apply to the specific employee selected.
Once done selecting the approval flow and managing the approval levels, do not forget to save the changes made.
Note: that whenever there are changes in the approval levels, the existing pending applications of the employees will still follow the previous approval levels. Thus, the changes made will only apply to new applications submitted.
